Admissions in Classes – I to IX

Admissions into the classes - I to IX (CBSE) in Vikash CBSE Schools are open during the months of January-April every year. Application form and prospectus for admission into all the classes can be got from our office counter/reception everyday during the months mentioned above with a payment of Rs.500/- in cash.

The form and prospectus also be got through post by sending a DD of RS 550/- in favor of Vikash Residential School payable at Bargarh with a Self Addressed Envelope with PIN Code and Contact no. to The Principal, Vikash Residential School, Vikash Knowledge Hub, Barahaguda Canal Chowk, Bargarh, Odisha.

Documents Required for Admission - Class - I-IX

• Progress report of the last class attended.
• Previous school record form.
• Three passport size and two stamp size photographs of the student.
• Two passport size photographs of the parent/guardian.
• Copy of the birth certificate.
• Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school.(Countersigned by Regional Officer, CBSE /D.I./C.I. of school for admission in class- IX)
• Original Conduct/Character Certificate.
• One passport size photograph of each of the approved visitors.
• Medical history form.
• Cast Certificate (in case of SC/ST/BC student) from revenue officer not below the rank of Tahasildar / Additional Tahasildar.

Admissions in Classes – XI Science, Commerce & Humanities (Arts)

Admission into CBSE Class - XI Science , Commerce & Humanities (Arts) in Vikash Residential School, Bargarh Can be obtained immediately after the AISSE - Class - X / ICSE Class - X results. Application form and prospectus for admission into Class - XI can be got from our office counter/reception everyday during the months April-May with a payment of Rs.500/- in cash.

The form and prospectus also can be got through post by sending a DD of RS 550/- in favor of Vikash Residential School payable at Bargarh with a Self Addressed Envelope with PIN Code and Contact no. to The Principal, Vikash Residential School, Vikash Knowledge Hub, Barahaguda Canal Chowk, Bargarh, Odisha.

Documents Required for Admission - Class - XI

• Photocopy of CBSE / ICSE Mark Sheet cum Provisional Certificate.
• Original Migration Certificate from the concerned board.
• Three passport size and two stamp size photographs of the student.
• Two passport size photographs of the parent/guardian.
• Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school. (Countersigned by Regional Officer, CBSE )
• Original Conduct / Character Certificate.
• One passport size photograph of each of the approved visitors.
• Medical history form.
• Cast Certificate (in case of SC/ST/BC student) from revenue officer not below the rank of Tahasildar / Additional Tahasildar.
• Original proof of single child. (In case of a single girl child only)

Eligible Age for Admission

A child must be 5 years old on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is being sought for admission to class I and for admission to class II the age must be 6 years. For class III age must be 7 years and for class IV age must be 8 years as on 31st March of the year of admission. For remaining classes, the eligible age will be calculated as on 30th September of the Academic year.

An upper age limit for admission is fixed as the minimum age limit plus two years. No child would be eligible for admission in a class, if the age is more than the maximum age prescribed. The maximum age would be further relaxed by two years for handicapped children only. All such cases will be disposed of at the level of the Principal. Minimum and maximum age for the session 2013-14 are given below :
